The lovely studded belt that Carrie often wore in the Sex and the City movie has become one of the hottest accessories of the summer.  Unfortunately, only Carrie will get to wear the original studded belt, as it was a random vintage find, according to Sex and the City stylist Patricia Fields. But being the brilliant fashion expert she is, Patricia decided to replicate the belt herself, knowing that we Fashionistas would go crazy for it once we saw it on Ms.Bradshaw (uh-hum, I mean, Mrs.Preston) throughout the movie . The belt made it’s debut on Carrie when she wore the green floral ensemble that included a dress with a flouncy, below-knee skirt and a long, short-sleeved light-weight jacket. A few scenes later, she added it to a short, hot-pink form-fitting dress.  My favorite thing about this belt is that it gives an edgy vibe when paired with feminine pieces–creating the look of a “rock & roll princess”.

 

 Pat Field’s studded belt (above) for $120 is, of course, sold out at the moment. But I searched around and found some other replicas at ASOS for £15.00 and Rachel Leigh for Chick Downtown for $150.  Below are the replicas to choose from.
